You will need to have one or more online seed vendors if you have a backyard organic raised bed garden like I do in my suburban backyard. In fact, I have four x 4′ x 5′ beds, three x 4′ x 12′ beds, two 4′ x 16′ raised beds. In addition, I have some 3′ wide beds running along the back fence line. I garden year around so always sowing seeds either inside or out.
There are four online seed vendors that I use routinely and am very happy with. I use only heirloom, non-GMO, and organic (if available) seeds in my garden. The online seed vendors I use and highly recommend include:
SeedsNow.com
SeedsNow.com is one of my go-to seeds companies. They provide a great selection of heirloom, organic, non-GMO seeds with lots of freebies thrown in. They offer monthly subscriptions plans for seeds appropriate for your Plant Hardiness Zone and mystery seeds where they pick seeds to surprise you. That’s always fun!! (affiliate link)
RareSeeds.com
RareSeeds.com, the online presence of Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, is another of my go-to seed companies. Their catalog is an incredible “must to have” and they have an enormous variety of plants from around the world. They offer free seeds as well depending on the amount purchased.”
SeedSavers.org
SeedsSavers.org is another of my go-to seeds vendors. They focus on providing a great variety of heirloom vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers. I like to check out al the different varieties that they have as well.
MarysHeirloomSeeds.com
I’ve used Mary’s heirloom seeds on occasion to select a few varieties that I can’t find at my other sites They are a small company located in Texas so love to use a vendor that’s somewhat local.
These are the vendors that I use for purchasing seeds online. I’m confident you will be happy with any of these companies as they are all top class!!
Happy Gardening, Darrell!
